embroidery kit - introductory for kids
this kit is designed to teach children the basic concepts of stitching, whilst also exploring their creativity. designed to appeal to 4-12 year olds, it can be used by anyone of any age, and aims to introduce the basic principle of embroidery that is threading thread in and out of fabric from front to back. it's purpose is to foster creativity and imagination, while teaching a life long skill that can be built on for years to come.
it's designed to be simple to use and understand, with a focus on learning abstract, inspired embroidery techniques, rather than following any one specific pattern. the kit comes with recycled and off cut fabric pieces, with both plain and patterned designs. making it easy to follow along with the patterns of the fabric, or make up your own. also included is a heat erasable pen, so drawing your own designs is easy!
